Lech Lustre

Project Type
Xerography series

Year
2022

Unlike standard digital editing techniques which can precise and replicated again and again, Xerox art is unpredictable. It is created using a standard photocopier, and manipulating the scan, by moving or layering articles, to created distorted or twisted outcomes.

Lech Lustre is an experimental art series which combines manual and digital methods to twist and distort two different photographs taken in the Lech ski field in Austria.

Images created in this exploration were also used as part of the zine series, Doctored. Each publication featured text and media that appeared damaged, as though it had been found in a crashed or corrupted archive.
